The Union Plus Scholarship Program, in its 33rd year, is getting ready to examine hundreds of applications from deserving students presently enrolled in and planning to enroll in colleges, universities, technical or trade schools.
Since its inception in 1991, the program has given more than 3,800 students from union families school funds totaling more than $5.4 million. 205 students from 41 unions received $200,000 in scholarships from the Union Plus Scholarship Program last year.
The deadline to apply for a 2024 Union Plus Scholarship is January 31. Visit unionplus.org/scholarship to learn more and access the application.
CWA members and their spouses, children, and grandchildren, including those of retired or deceased members, may also apply for the Joe Beirne Scholarship (deadline April 30, 2024).
