Over $20,000 in scholarships will be given to selected students/apprentices from throughout Canada studying plumbing/mechanical contracting and mechanical engineering.
Applications for the 2023 Richard McKeagan Scholarship Series are currently being accepted by the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada (MCAC).
The Construction Education Council established the Richard McKeagan Scholarship Series in collaboration with MCA Canada Associate Members, and more than $20,000 is now awarded annually to select students and apprentices across Canada studying in the plumbing/mechanical contracting and mechanical engineering fields.
The 2023 application process opened on May 19 and the deadline is September 1.
For the 2023 application process, the association has developed new scholarship application software that will make it easier for candidates to complete and manage their online applications, and the software will automatically match applications to the defined criteria for each scholarship opportunity.
Scholarships for girls in the mechanical field, apprentices, engineering students, and others are among the Series categories.
