Culver-Stockton College (C-SC), a private liberal arts college with 80 major and minor options, announced that junior Jacob Morris of St. Louis, Missouri, has received a $1,000 scholarship from Sigma Beta Delta, the International Honor Society for Business, Management, and Administration.
The prize is given to an outstanding business student each year by Sigma Beta Delta. Morris, a C-SC business administration student, was notified of the award by the Society’s Board of Directors and the scholarship committee. The scholarship is used to cover a portion of the cost of schooling.
“I am honored to receive this scholarship award from Sigma Beta Delta,” Morris said. “I am so grateful to have been recognized for my achievements at Culver-Stockton, and I look forward to a great future in the field, knowing that I have been well prepared by both the college and Sigma Beta Delta.”
Morris is involved at C-SC through many student organizations, in addition to his membership in Sigma Beta Delta.
He serves as President of Lambda Chi Alpha, Treasurer of the Red Cross Club, Senator of the Student Government Association, and member of the Mental Health Awareness Club. Morris is a varsity player for the Wildcat men’s soccer team and a student-athlete. This past summer, he also interned with Northwestern Mutual.
