FULL LIST: Association of Marshall Scholars Congratulates the 51 Winners of 2024 Marshall Scholarship

The Association of Marshall Scholars congratulates the 51 recipients of the British Government’s Marshall Scholarship for 2024. Marshall Scholars are among America’s most outstanding recent graduates.

The entering class is the seventieth class of the Marshall Scholarship program, which was established by an Act of British Parliament in 1953 in appreciation for the Marshall Plan’s aid from the United States. The increase in funding was announced earlier this year in the UK and US’ new economic partnership known as the “Atlantic Declaration.”

Diplomats, doctors, combat pilots, and scientists are among those in this year’s class. Half of the 2024 class will study STEM-related fields, with others focusing on the ethics and growth of artificial intelligence.

The program is primarily supported by the British government, but it also receives considerable funding from world-class British academic institutions, the Association of Marshall Scholars, and the British Schools and Universities Foundation. Winners pursue graduate degrees in nearly any academic discipline at any UK university.
