Every semester, Florida Gulf Coast University recognizes its top scholars by including undergraduate students on the President’s or Dean’s lists. The combined released lists for the fall 2023 semester include 4,521 students from 41 states and 32 countries. Approximately 82% of the honorees on the combined list are from Florida.
The President’s List recognizes students who completed at least 12 hours of regularly graded classes during the fall 2023 semester and achieve a 4.0 grade point average (GPA). President Aysegul Timur sends the 1,352 recipients a letter recognizing their outstanding performance.
To make the Dean’s List, a student must take at least 12 hours of regularly graded classes and maintain a GPA between 3.5 and 3.99 during the semester. The Dean’s List honorees get a letter of congratulations from their college’s dean.
