Student from Wisconsin Wins National FFA Scholarship

A student from Wisconsin is one of eight national winners of a $1,000 scholarship from Syngenta and Crop Life America.

Katie Zimmer, a Flambeau High School alumna, is presently pursuing a degree in Agricultural Business and Agricultural Education at the University of Wisconsin River Falls.

She has already completed an internship in commodities trading at Archer Daniels Midland, and her long-term ambition is to create an agri-tourism/agricultural education center.

During the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, the award was presented.
