The Selkirk Association of Realtors offers an essay competition during the Senior Finance Fair each year, asking students who went to discuss three things they learned from being involved in the fair.
Jack Landon was this year’s winner. He wrote a funny and insightful essay about how “pricey” kids can be when it comes to food and household goods. His insights led to the awarding of a $500 grant to support his college education.
