Applications of the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) Master Projects Fellowship Programme are now open for eligible students.

The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) established the Master Projects Fellowship Programme with the aim of supporting university graduates from all over the world. This programme gives selected students the opportunity to enrol in the URV / ICIQ Master in Synthesis, Catalysis and Molecular Design or other Master programmes and to follow a research project in the area of chemistry as part of the Master Degree Programme.

This Master programme is delivered English and the students enjoy the research experience will take advantages of all the edge facilities at ICIQ. Eligible students are talented and highly qualified graduates who demonstrate a passion in chemistry research. Students must have completed a Bachelor’s degree and are interested in Joining a Research based Master’s Programme.

Selected students will be given the opportunity to to join one of the research groups at ICIQ where they will complete their individual master’s research project.

Benefits

Selected Students will be eligible or the following benefits

  • Awardees will receive a scholarship of 750 €/month to help for their living expenses during the academic course.
  • Please note that the Master programme enrolment costs will not be covered by ICIQ.
  • The beneficiary will sign a scholarship credential with ICIQ

Eligibility

To apply for this programme, you must met the following conditions

  • Applications are accepted from students of any nationality from any country around the world.
  • Candidates must hold an undergraduate University Degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or related disciplines that must be completed by the time of enrolment in the Master programme

Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria will be evaluated according to the following evaluation criteria:

  1. Curriculum vitae.
  2. Academic marks.
  3. English level.
  4. Personal interview for short-listed candidates.

Required Documents:

  1. Scanned copy of the BSc Diploma and academic record of the studies which provide access to the Master Programme. The academic record must include the average/final mark, the range of marks used in the corresponding country and the minimum mark to pass.
  2. Curriculum Vitae, specifying the completed degree and any relevant professional experience.
  3. Applicants must supply evidence of their proficiency in written and oral communication in the English language. Preferably, by the submission of a B2 certificate, First Certificate, IELTS 6 or equivalent. Alternatively, late stage candidates will be interviewed to assess their English level. Applicants from Anglosphere (UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand) are exempted from this requirement
