Due to extreme cold weather and below freezing temperatures, the Lafayette Parish School System has extended the closure of all schools and facilities. On Wednesday, January 17, 2024, all schools and facilities will be closed.
The safety of our school community is still our top priority. While we will continue to closely monitor weather conditions, we anticipate that schools and facilities will resume on Thursday, January 18, 2024.
As more information becomes available, we will keep our families and staff updated.
