Ms. Marina Mekhaeil will receive the Zillion Women in STEM Scholarship in 2024. Ms Mekhaeil, a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Houston’s Cullen College of Engineering, stood out among over 100 applicants due to her interest for robotics and software programming, as well as her strong character and fascinating personal story.
Zillion established the “Zillion Women in STEM Scholarship” to encourage and empower women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The academic scholarship, which is intended to cover a portion of the tuition costs for a female student studying in a STEM discipline at a recognized US college or institution, is extremely essential to Zillion. As a leader in embedded insurance, our innovation is directly credited to a bright and diverse staff, with women in engineering and executive positions.
“Zillion is founded on creativity, learning, and improving experiences,” stated Adam Black, managing director of Zillion. “Ms. Mekhaeil has shown a strong capacity to embrace these talents while encouraging others, particularly women, to pursue careers in STEM. We are thrilled to present our 2024 scholarship to a young person with incredible passion and curiosity, and we know she will make a significant contribution in her chosen profession.”
